# How to Connect my Telegram Account?

Connect your Telegram account to send and receive Telegram messages directly from Breakcold.

## Overview
Connecting your Telegram account lets you **send and receive Telegram messages directly from Breakcold**, sync your conversation history, and manage all your Telegram interactions alongside your other channels (Email, LinkedIn, WhatsApp). Once connected, Telegram conversations appear in your unified inbox.
## Step 1 — Go to the Accounts Page
1. In the left sidebar, click **Accounts** under the Workspace section.
2. Scroll down to the **Social Channels** section and click **+ Connect** under Telegram.
Click "+ Connect" under Telegram in the Social Channels section.
## Step 2 — History Import
Choose how much Telegram message history to import into Breakcold.
3. Use the dropdown to select your preference:
* **Don't import history** — Start fresh with no past messages
* **Import last 12 months** — Bring in the past year of conversations
4. Click **Next** to continue.
Choose how much history to import — "Import last 12 months" brings in your recent conversations.
| Tip — Importing history is recommended if you want to see your existing Telegram conversations in Breakcold. If you only care about new messages going forward, select "Don't import history".
## Step 3 — Sharing Settings
Choose whether this Telegram account is private or shared with your team.
* **No, this is a private account** — Only you can access this account. You can share it later.
* **Yes, this is a shared account** — Allows other workspace members to use this account.
5. Select your preference and click **Connect**.
Choose private or shared — you can always change this later.
## Step 4 — Two-Factor Authentication (if enabled)
If you have two-factor authentication enabled on your Telegram account, you will be asked to enter your **2FA password**.
6. Enter your **2FA password** in the field provided.
7. If you do not have 2FA enabled, click **Skip (I don't use 2FA)** to bypass this step.
