AI CRM Employees
Meet your back-office crew. AI CRM Employees are purpose-built AI teammates that do the repetitive work around your relationships — adding contacts, planning follow-ups, updating your pipeline, hunting duplicates and creating deals — so you can spend your time selling. They keep your CRM tidy, prepared, and ready for your review.
You hire, promote and fire them like real teammates, and they run 24/7.
We built the crew from the best real-world use cases of people running Breakcold with Claude, OpenClaw and ChatGPT — then packaged them so you get that power without any of the setup. As capable as Claude / Hermes / OpenClaw, minus the wiring. Each one takes about 60 seconds to set up.

Where to find them
In the left sidebar, click Employees. You'll see the whole crew, who's hired, who's in training, and what each one is doing for you.
Why "employees" and not just another AI feature
- They run 24/7 in the background — no prompts to write, no chat window to babysit.
- No per-seat pricing. Your whole team benefits from every employee at one flat cost. Go ahead and try to find a more cost-efficient setup.
- Hire, promote, fire. Turn an employee on when you need it, tune how it works, or let it go — you're always in control.
- Everything is review-first. Employees prepare the work; nothing is sent or changed behind your back unless you allow it.
Meet the crew
Kyle — Automatic Contact Manager · Free
"You pay him in Red Bulls to add contacts in the CRM."
Kyle continuously creates or links People from the email and LinkedIn accounts you choose, so new relationships reach your CRM without manual entry.
How Kyle works
- Connects your sources — watches only the email and LinkedIn accounts you select.
- Filters and matches safely — excludes warm-up mail and links existing People before creating anyone new.
- Keeps People current — creates or links eligible contacts and keeps uncertain matches aside for your review.
Set up Kyle (Step 1 of 2 — Accounts): choose where Kyle should find contacts by selecting the email and LinkedIn accounts he should watch, then continue. Every eligible relationship becomes the right CRM contact automatically.
Karen — Follow-Up Planner · Paid (free trial included)
"When a Karen works for you, it feels different."
Karen analyzes your synced conversations to catch inactive discussions and pending next steps, then prepares the exact task and message you need to follow up. She works across LinkedIn, WhatsApp, Telegram, Email and can create drafts.
Karen doesn't just remind you — she drafts the reply, names the task, and drops you straight into the right email / LinkedIn / WhatsApp / Telegram conversation, ready to send. Every morning you get a clean "today's follow-ups" brief (e.g. "50 follow-ups ready — Karen reviewed your quiet conversations and prepared today's follow-ups").
Karen's 60-second setup
- How many conversations should Karen handle? — pick a shared daily capacity. Breakcold pre-selects the best fit from today's workspace demand.
- When is a conversation quiet? — how long Karen waits after the last message before considering a follow-up (e.g. 3 days).
- When should Karen remind your team? — each owner gets one focused task digest at this time, in their own saved timezone (e.g. 09:30).
- Who should Karen create tasks for? — all eligible contacts, or only contacts tied to ongoing deals.
- Send Karen's brief to Slack? — keep it inside Breakcold, or also post one compact workspace summary to a Slack channel each day.
Managing Karen: from her card you can Opt out for me, Edit setup, or Fire Karen at any time.

Frequently Asked Questions
How long does setup take?
About 60 seconds per employee. Kyle just needs the accounts to watch; Karen walks you through a short wizard.
Can I turn an employee off?
Yes. You can fire any employee, opt out for just yourself, or edit its setup at any time.
Do they act without me?
They're review-first. Karen prepares tasks, drafts and follow-ups and puts you in the right conversation — you stay in control of what's actually sent.
How is this different from connecting Claude or ChatGPT via MCP?
Same power, zero setup. We built the employees from the best use cases people run with Claude, OpenClaw and ChatGPT, then packaged them to run 24/7 inside Breakcold — no connectors, prompts or agent wiring required. Prefer to drive it yourself? You still can — see the MCP article in Settings.
Is it really cheaper than the alternatives?
Yes — and there's no per-seat charge. Compare it to running your own 24/7 agent stack and see for yourself.
