Overview

Breakcold regularly ships new features, improvements, and bug fixes. You can view all recent product updates directly inside the app through the "What's New" panel. There are two ways to access it:

  • Method 1 — Click the Breakcold logo in the top-left corner of the sidebar
  • Method 2 — Click your profile avatar in the bottom-left corner and select Product Updates

  1. Click the logo to open the What's New panel.

The What's New panel displays the latest updates in reverse chronological order.

Method 2 — Use the Profile Menu


  1. Click your profile avatar at the very bottom-left of the sidebar.
  2. From the expanded menu, click Product Updates.

Click your avatar, then select "Product Updates" from the menu.

Reading the Updates

Each update in the What's New panel includes:

  • Date — when the update was released
  • Title & version number — the name of the update (e.g. "Workspace layout spacing tweak (v0.50.2)")
  • Summary — a brief description of what changed
  • Features and improvements — bullet-pointed details of new functionality
  • Bug fixes — resolved issues and stability improvements

Scroll through the panel to read older updates with full details.

Tip — Scroll down in the What's New panel to browse through older updates. Updates are listed in reverse chronological order with the most recent at the top.

Frequently Asked Questions

How often are product updates released?
Breakcold ships updates regularly. Check the What's New panel frequently to stay informed about the latest features and fixes.
Can I close the What's New panel?
Yes. Click the X button in the top-right corner of the panel, or click anywhere outside it, to close it and return to your work.
Will I be notified when a new update is available?
The What's New panel is always available for you to check at any time via the Breakcold logo or the profile menu.
Can I see updates from previous months?
Yes. Scroll down in the What's New panel to browse the full history of past updates and changelogs.
