Does Breakcold know if I'm connected with someone on LinkedIn?
To avoid LinkedIn automation and protect your account, we don't check if you're connected with someone on LinkedIn or not.
The only way for Breakcold to know if you are connected with someone or not is if you have conversations with them.
Therefore, the solution people often do is:
- add a connection request message
- make it less than 10 words, ideally no capital letter to make it look you sent it quickly from your phone
- when the person accepts the invite, it automatically triggers a conversation in LinkedIn so Breakcold knows it too and the activity is auto-sync in the CRM
Another way to know if a connection is 2nd or 1st degree is to use a LinkedIn automation tool like HeyReach:
- when a LinkedIn invite is accepted
- push an event to Breakcold to create or update the contact
