Can You Have Multiple Views & Display for Tasks
Create separate saved views for Tasks, apply filters, group by any field, and sort your way.
Overview
Yes — Breakcold's Tasks section fully supports multiple saved views, each with its own filters, grouping, and sort settings. You can create a view for your LinkedIn conversations, another for company follow-ups, another for overdue items — and switch between them instantly.
- Create unlimited named views, each with its own filter set
- Add an emoji to any view name to find it at a glance
- Group tasks by Assignee, Due date, Record, Resource type, and more
- Sort by Due date, Creation date, Assignee, or Updated date
- Toggle completed tasks on or off per view

The default "All Tasks" view shows all tasks across your CRM grouped by status.
Step 1 — Create a New View
Click the + icon next to the view tabs at the top of the Tasks page to open the Create view dialog.
- In the Tasks section, click the + button next to the existing view tabs (e.g. next to "All Tasks").
- A dialog appears: "Create a saved view for this page." Type a name for your view in the View name field.
- Click Create view to save it. The new view tab appears immediately alongside "All Tasks".
Name your view — e.g. "Conversations", "LinkedIn Follow-ups", "My Tasks".
Tip — You can also duplicate an existing view by right-clicking its tab, which copies all its current filters as a starting point for the new view.Step 2 — Add an Emoji to Your View Name
When naming or renaming a view, you can add an emoji at the start to make it easier to spot in the tab bar.
- While in the Create view dialog (or when renaming), click the emoji icon to the left of the name field to open the emoji picker.
- Select any emoji — it will be prepended to your view name (e.g.
📋 All Tasks). - Click Create view to confirm.
An emoji prefix makes your views immediately recognisable in the tab bar.
Step 3 — Filter Your View
Each saved view has its own independent filter set. Click Filter to define exactly which tasks this view should show.
- With your view selected, click the Filter button at the top left of the task list.
- Choose a filter condition. Available fields include:
- Task fields: Assigned to, Created by, Due date, Company
- Linked Person fields: Name, Job Title, Email, LinkedIn, Phone, City, Owner
- Linked Deal fields: Title, Company, linked records, and more
- Resource type: People, Deals, Website, etc.
- Stack multiple conditions to narrow the view further, then click Save to persist filters to this view.

Filter by task fields, linked person/company/deal properties, or resource type — combinations are saved per view.
Note — Filters are stored per view. Switching tabs automatically applies that view's filters — no manual reconfiguration needed.Step 4 — Configure Display Options (Group & Sort)
Click the Sorted by button at the top right to open the display panel, where you control grouping, sort order, and visibility of completed tasks.
- Click the Sorted by [field] label at the top right of the task list.
- Toggle Show completed tasks to control whether this view includes completed tasks.
- Under Group by, choose how tasks are clustered:
- No grouping — flat list
- Assignee — group by team member
- Due date — group by date
- Record — group by linked contact or company
- Creation date — group by when the task was created
- Resource type — group by People, Deals, etc.
- Under Sort by, pick the ordering field: Due date, Assignee, Creation date, or Updated date. Then choose Ascending or Descending.
Group by, sort by, and completed task visibility are all configurable per view.

Example: grouping by Creation date splits your tasks into monthly sections automatically.
Step 5 — Switch Between Views
All saved views appear as tabs at the top of the Tasks page. Click any tab to switch instantly — filters, grouping, and sort settings all load for that view automatically.
Click any view tab to switch context — each view remembers its own filters and display settings.

Frequently Asked Questions
How many views can I create?
There is no limit. Create as many named views as you need — one per project, channel, team member, or workflow stage.
Are views shared with my team?
Yes. Saved views are visible to all workspace members. Anyone can use or build on a view you've created.
Can I rename or delete a view?
Yes — right-click any view tab to rename, duplicate, or delete it. The default "All Tasks" view cannot be deleted.
Does changing filters in one view affect other views?
No. Each view's filters are independent. Editing the filter in one view has no effect on any other view.
Can I hide completed tasks in all views at once?
No — the Show completed tasks toggle is per view. You need to disable it individually in each view where you want completed tasks hidden.
