How to Create a Sales Pipeline - Can I Create Multiple Pipelines ?
Build one or more Kanban-style pipelines for your deals — and let AI generate the stages for you.
Overview
In Breakcold, a sales pipeline is a Kanban view on the Deals page. Each pipeline is powered by a select field whose options become the columns (stages) of your board. You can create as many pipelines as you need — one for each sales process, product line, or team.
- Pipelines live as Kanban views on the Deals page
- Each pipeline uses a select field to define its stages
- You can generate stages with AI or configure them manually
- Yes, you can create multiple pipelines — just create additional Kanban views
Step 1 — Go to the Deals Page
Navigate to Deals in the left sidebar. You will see your existing deals in the default view (table or pipeline).
The Deals page with your existing deals displayed.
Step 2 — Open the View Selector
Click the view name dropdown at the top of the page (e.g. "All Deals"). This reveals all your existing views and a Create new view option at the bottom.

The view dropdown lists all views — click "Create new view" to add a pipeline.
Step 3 — Create a New Kanban View
- In the Create View dialog, type a name for your pipeline (e.g. "Pipeline 1").
- Under View Type, select Kanban (displays records as cards in columns).

Name your view and select the Kanban type.
Step 4 — Choose or Create a Group By Field
- Under Group By Field, you need to select the field whose options will become your pipeline columns (stages).
- If you don't have a suitable field yet, click Create view select field to create a new one. Give it a name (e.g. "Stage Signups") and click Save.
Create a new select field to power your pipeline stages.
- Once the field is selected, click Create View.
Click Create View once your group-by field is set.
Step 5 — Generate Pipeline Stages with AI
Your new pipeline view is created, but it has no stages yet. Breakcold shows a prompt to add options to your select field.
The empty pipeline — click "Generate With AI" to auto-create stages.
- Click Generate With AI
- In the Build Your Pipeline With AI dialog, describe your sales process in natural language. For example: "Generate me a pipeline for a B2B SaaS to handle signups from free trial to churn."
- Click Generate and wait a few seconds for the AI to create your stages.

Describe your pipeline in plain language and click Generate.
Tip — The AI dialog shows example prompts to help you get started, such as sales pipelines, recruitment pipelines, or customer onboarding flows.Step 6 — Review and Apply the Generated Stages
After the AI generates your stages, a Manage Options dialog appears with the suggested stages, each with a color and an enable/disable toggle.
Review the AI-generated stages — toggle individual stages on or off, then apply.
- Review the generated stages. You can enable or disable individual stages and reorder them as needed.
- Click Apply All to create all the enabled stages at once.

All stages are created and your pipeline columns appear instantly.
Step 7 — Your Pipeline Is Ready
Your Kanban pipeline is now fully set up. Each stage is a column, and your deal cards can be dragged between stages to track progress.

Can I Create Multiple Pipelines?
Yes! You can create as many pipelines as you need. Each pipeline is simply a separate Kanban view with its own group-by field. To add another pipeline, repeat the steps above — click the view dropdown and choose Create new view again.
Switch between multiple pipelines using the view dropdown.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I add stages manually instead of using AI?
Yes. When the empty pipeline is created, click Configure Field Options instead of "Generate With AI". You can then add each stage option manually with a custom name and color.
Can I edit or remove stages after creating them?
Yes. Click on the stage field options to open the Manage Options dialog at any time. From there you can rename, reorder, add, or delete stages.
How many pipelines can I create?
There is no hard limit. Create as many Kanban views as your workflow requires — one per sales process, product, or team.
Can I move deals between different pipelines?
Each pipeline is based on its own select field. A deal can have a stage value in each field, so it can appear in multiple pipelines simultaneously.
Can I use a Table view and a Pipeline view side by side?
Yes. The view dropdown lets you switch between Table and Kanban views at any time. Your data is the same — only the display changes.
