What is an AI Summary?
Every record in Breakcold gets an AI Summary: a short, structured briefing that pulls together everything that has happened with that person or company, so you don't have to scroll through months of history to get up to speed.
It reads across all of your connected channels and stitches them into one picture:
- Meetings (and their transcripts)
- LinkedIn conversations
- WhatsApp conversations
- Telegram conversations
Instead of piecing the story together yourself, you open the record and the summary is already there.
It's completely free
AI Summaries cost 0 tokens. Unlike most AI features, generating a record summary doesn't use any of your token balance — so you can rely on them for every contact without watching a meter.
It generates automatically when you open a contact
You don't have to click anything to get a summary. When you open a record, Breakcold auto-generates the summary from the latest conversations across your meetings, email, LinkedIn, WhatsApp and Telegram.
As new activity comes in — a reply, a meeting, a new message — the summary reflects it the next time it refreshes.
You can regenerate every 24 hours
Each summary can be regenerated once every 24 hours. This keeps it current with the latest activity while keeping things fast and free. If you've just had a big meeting or exchange and want the summary updated, you can regenerate it — as long as 24 hours have passed since the last generation.
Choose the summary style that fits how you work
In your workspace settings you can pick the default Summary style used for new summaries. Existing summaries are marked stale when you change this, so you can refresh them into the new format.
- Executive — a balanced snapshot of the record
- Sales — buying signals, objections, and next actions
- Timeline — key developments in chronological order
- Narrative — a concise summary written as natural prose
For example, the Sales style produces a briefing like:
- Relationship: active evaluation led by Maya Chen.
- Need: unify LinkedIn and email outreach for 12 sales reps.
- Buying signal: pricing and security documentation were requested.
- Objection: migration effort from the current CRM.
- Next action: schedule the technical review for Friday.
Add optional guidance
Below the style picker you can add Summary guidance — up to 2,000 characters of optional instructions that tell the AI what to prioritize (for example, "prioritize explicit owners and next steps"). This supplements — but never overrides — the built-in evidence, privacy, and accuracy rules that always stay protected.

Do I need to generate it manually?
No — it auto-generates when you open a contact. You can regenerate it manually once every 24 hours.
Why can't I regenerate it right now?
Summaries can only be regenerated once per 24-hour window. If you recently generated one, you'll need to wait until the window resets.
Can I change the format?
Yes. Pick from Executive, Sales, Timeline, or Narrative in your workspace settings, and optionally add guidance to steer what the summary focuses on.
