How To Change The Bot Image in My Meetings

Customize the image your Breakcold recorder bot displays when it joins your meeting calls.


Overview

When Breakcold's meeting recorder bot joins your calls, it displays a profile image that other participants can see. You can change this image by selecting a different image preset in the Meetings settings. Choose between the default Breakcold branded image or Join without a branded image for a more neutral appearance.

  • The bot image is configured in Settings > Meetings
  • Choose from available image presets
  • A live preview shows how the bot will look in a call
  • Changes apply immediately to future meetings

Step 1 — Go to Settings

Click Settings in the bottom-left corner of the sidebar to open the workspace settings page.

Step 2 — Navigate to Meetings

In the left settings menu, under the Workspace section, click Meetings. This page contains all your meeting recorder configuration including recording mode, auto-create records, auto-generate insights, and video layout.

Step 3 — Find the Bot Image Section

Scroll down past the Call Insight Templates to find the Bot Image section. This is where you choose how your recorder bot appears in meeting calls.

Step 4 — Choose an Image Preset

Under Image preset, you will see the available options:

  1. Breakcold — the default branded image showing the Breakcold logo. Your bot will display the Breakcold branding when it joins calls.
  2. Join without — the bot joins without a branded service image, for a more neutral or custom appearance.

Select an image preset — the preview below shows how the bot will look in a call.

Tip — The live preview at the bottom of the section shows exactly how your bot will appear to other participants, so you can see the result before your next meeting.

Step 5 — Confirm the Change

Click on your desired preset. The change is saved automatically and a "Bot image preset updated" confirmation appears at the bottom of the page.
The preset is updated instantly — a confirmation toast appears at the bottom.


The preview updates to reflect the newly selected bot image preset.

Note — The new bot image will apply to all future meetings. Meetings that are already in progress will not be affected.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I upload a custom image for the bot?
Currently, the bot image is selected from the available presets. You can choose between the Breakcold branded image or joining without a branded image.
Will the change affect meetings already in progress?
No. The new bot image preset applies to future meetings only. Any meeting currently being recorded will continue with the previous image.
Does every workspace member see the same bot image?
Yes. The bot image preset is a workspace-level setting, so it applies to all meetings recorded by anyone in the workspace.
Where else on the Meetings page can I configure my bot?
The Meetings settings page also lets you configure the recording mode (external meetings only or all meetings), auto-create records from participants, auto-generate insights, and the video layout (speaker view, gallery view, or audio only).
